The YouTube Speed Controller extension does not collect, store, or share any personal or identifiable user data.
All user preferences (such as chosen playback speed) are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.
This data never leaves your device.
The extension only runs on YouTube pages to control video playback speed and display the remaining time. It does not track user activity, web history, or any browsing data.
No external servers, remote scripts, or analytics tools are used. The extension is completely self-contained.
